TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Newport, RI. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-in/check-out, payments, and guest inquiries to ensure a warm, efficient stay.

Responsibilities include reservations management, coordinating with housekeeping, and maintaining security and administrative tasks. We value strong communication, reliability, and a professional demeanor in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Strong guest service orientation and basic accounting skills.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with check-in, and verify reservations.
• Handle check-out, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Answer calls, manage emails, and direct inquiries.
• Manage room/service reservations and data entry.
• Assist guests with requests and provide local recommendations.
• Perform mail and visitor log duties, organize files.
• Monitor access and issue visitor badges.
• Maintain cash drawer and reconcile transactions.
• Multitask across guest services and admin tasks.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management.
• Follow emergency procedures and assist guests as needed.
