Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Lebanon, IN is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service, handle check-ins and upsell opportunities, and maintain brand standards across all interactions.

You will greet guests, manage reservations, communicate with housekeeping and other departments, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience while upholding safety and security procedures. Flexibility with shifts is required; prior hotel front desk or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to read, write and speak English with guests and team members.
• Experience in hotel front desk or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
• Provide information about hotel, rooms, rates and amenities; upsell where appropriate.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
• Handle payments, verify IDs, and balance cash as per procedures.
• Respond to guest complaints promptly and professionally and document resolutions.
