Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Service Assistant to support guest experiences in a fast-paced, dining room environment. This entry-level role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and friendly, professional service.

You will deliver food and beverages, clear and reset tables, assist with takeout orders, and learn menu details, ingredients, and allergen protocols. The role offers a collaborative culture and URBN employee perks across brands.

Qualifications

• Entry level position, passion for details.
• Polished, professional appearance and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in food service not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages accurately with menu knowledge.
• Assist guests and relay questions or concerns to team members.
• Clear and reset tables within 3 minutes of guest departure.
• Assist with packaging takeout orders.
• Maintain awareness of dining room and proactively assist as needed.
• Keep kitchen expo areas, service stations, and dining room clean and organized.
• Polish and restock silverware, glassware, and plateware.
• Monitor and remove trash and recycling regularly.
• Ensure safe and clear walkways for guests and staff.
• Memorize table and seat numbers for efficient service.
• Learn menu details, ingredients, and allergen protocols.
• Communicate guest concerns clearly to team leads.
• Assist FOH staff during high-volume periods.
• Help with opening and closing duties, including setting/resetting dining room.
