Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Service Assistant to support guest experience in a fast-paced dining environment. You will deliver food and beverages, assist guests, and help keep tables and dining spaces clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to multitask during peak hours. Flexible availability and physical stamina are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Polished, professional appearance and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible availability—mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Physically able to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages accurately, with understanding of menu details.
• Assist guests and relay questions or concerns to the team.
• Clear and reset tables within 3 minutes of guest departure.
• Assist with packing takeout orders.
• Maintain awareness of the dining room and proactively assist where needed.
• Keep kitchen expo areas, service stations, and dining room clean and organized.
• Polish and restock silverware, glassware, and plateware.
• Monitor and remove trash and recycling regularly.
• Ensure safe and clear walkways for guests and staff.
