Job summary

URBN is seeking a detail-oriented Service Assistant to keep the dining room clean, support timely service, and ensure accurate delivery of menu items. The role involves collaboration across service teams, learning menu details, and providing guest-focused experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level; hospitality passion welcomed.
• Polished, professional appearance with a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Physically able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages accurately with menu knowledge.
• Assist guests and relay questions to the team.
• Clear and reset tables within 3 minutes of departure.
• Assist with packaging takeout orders.
• Maintain awareness of dining room and proactively assist.
• Keep service areas clean and organized; restock as needed.
• Monitor and remove trash/recycling; ensure safe walkways.
• Memorize table/seat numbers to aid service.
• Learn menu details, ingredients, and allergen protocols.
• Communicate guest concerns to team leads.
• Assist front-of-house during high-volume periods.
• Support opening/closing duties including dining room resets.
