Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and handle reservations with precision. You’ll answer calls, process payments, and provide local recommendations while coordinating with departments to ensure a seamless stay.

The role requires strong communication, professional composure under pressure, and basic accounting skills. Opportunities exist for both full-time and part-time schedules across locations.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Strong guest service orientation and basic accounting skills.
• Familiarity with hospitality practices is preferred.
• Remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Proficient with computer, calculator, phone and office equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and check-in guests, verify reservations and provide facility information.
• Handle check-out, process payments, and issue receipts with accuracy.
• Answer calls, direct inquiries, and respond to emails promptly.
• Manage room/service reservations, cancellations, and changes.
• Assist guests with requests and local recommendations, resolve complaints courteously.
• Perform administrative duties: mail, visitor log, filing, and tidiness of the front desk.
• Monitor access, issue visitor badges, and coordinate with security.
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile at shift end.
• Multi-task across guests, calls, inquiries, and admin tasks.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management for smooth operations.
• Follow emergency procedures and assist guests and staff if needed.
