Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Guest Coordinator to engage guests and promote salon services through in-person and phone interactions. You will support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager by driving service bookings, guest satisfaction, and retail growth in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires a passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate salon services and product knowledge. Flexibility to work various shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system, Apple devices, Services Booking System).
• Demonstrate significant competency in sales, products, and service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, retail shrink, and omni-channel sales as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Provide exceptional guest service by acknowledging all Ulta Beauty guests in the Salon, Haircare, and Skincare areas and offering friendly, prompt service.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds and exchanges.
• Support the services team by answering salon phone calls, addressing and resolving guest concerns, and managing bookings and guest records.
• Build the services business by informing guests of promotions and events and inviting them to try services and products.
