Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Guest Coordinator to engage with guests, promote salon services and store events, and support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager in delivering a premier guest experience.

The role focuses on service and retail sales, guest loyalty, and efficient store operations within the salon and salesfloor. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., POS system, Apple devices, Services Booking System).
• Demonstrate strong sales, products, and service knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, retail shrink, and omni-channel sales.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests in the Salon, Haircare, and Skincare areas and offering friendly, prompt service.
• Handle sales, refunds and exchanges courteously.
• Support services team with salon phone calls, guest concerns, and appointment bookings; manage guest records and traffic flow.
• Promote services and events; invite guests to try services and provide knowledgeable product recommendations.
• Assist in booking and executing services and in-store events to deliver excellent guest experiences and sales.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services and communicate benefits to guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and store cleanliness.
