Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Miami is seeking a Concierge to create a welcoming first impression and to provide current information about local attractions and events. You will greet guests, answer questions, and offer recommendations and directions for restaurants, attractions and events in the area.

The Concierge role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, hotel experience preferred, and strong time management, communication, and multitasking abilities to ensure superb guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to prioritize multiple requests.
• Computer experience required.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information about local area, attractions and events.
• Assist with questions, reservations and directions as needed.
• Maintain lobby and guest-facing areas in orderly condition.
• Provide hours of operation for restaurants, lounges and shops within the hotel.
• Assist front desk when needed and help with guest services.
