Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a friendly hotel front desk associate to greet guests, manage check-in/out, and assist with guest requests. The role requires effective communication, basic computer usage, and cash handling while maintaining a spotless front desk area and supporting team members.

Operates in a 24/7 hotel environment with varying shifts; hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
• Considerable skill in the use of a calculator

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
• Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system
• Code electronic keys, certificates, and coupons as appropriate
• Handle cash; manage house banks and perform basic arithmetic
• Answer calls and route messages to guests
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve issues following guidelines
• Maintain a neat, clean, and secure front desk area
• Support other front desk staff as needed
