Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development seeks an energetic Front Desk Host to welcome guests, manage Bell Services and Concierge tasks, and deliver a personalized check-in experience.

You will escort guests, assist with luggage, share local information, coordinate with housekeeping, and maintain guest confidentiality while upholding hotel brand standards. Excellent communication and hospitality skills are required; experience with tablets or guest management systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Prev. hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads.

Responsibilities

• Assign and escort guests to rooms according to preferences.
• Assist guests to their rooms and with luggage.
• Provide room quotes and upsell when possible.
• Share hotel knowledge and personalize guest interactions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Desk for smooth service.
• Verify charges and collect payment for stays.
• Respond to guest inquiries and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide local information for shopping, dining, and nightlife.
