Job summary

Highgate is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service from check-in through checkout while maximizing occupancy and guest satisfaction. You will handle reservations, inquiries, and requests with a friendly, professional approach.

The role requires standing for long periods, flex hours, and strong communication. Experience in hospitality and computer-based front desk systems will help you perform efficiently during shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk in line with Highgate standards.
• Maintain operation of the PBX console and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours of operation.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork according to hotel standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and promote promotions and guest programs.
