Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent in Honolulu to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while helping maximize room revenue and occupancy. You will greet guests, handle inquiries, and operate the Front Desk system with professionalism.

The position requires flexibility with hours and strong communication skills to maintain Highgate standards and assist guests throughout their stay.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel front desk is preferred.
• Must be able to stand during the entire shift.
• Must communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk per Highgate standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours of operation.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests or meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare closing shift paperwork per hotel standards.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Be familiar with rate packages, promotions, in-house groups, and relevant computer systems.
