Job summary

Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans seeks a full-time front desk agent to warmly welcome guests, handle check-in/out, and provide concierge-style service in a historic setting. You will input guest details, answer phones, and explain hotel services and F&B outlets.

The role requires staying calm during busy periods, upselling rooms to raise revenue, processing cash and card transactions, and helping guests with directions and local recommendations.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Ability to handle guest interactions with patience and diplomacy.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, processing check-in and check-out.
• Upsell rooms and promote hotel services and outlets.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions per procedures.
• Answer phones promptly and provide guest information.
