Job summary

Saint Vincent in New Orleans seeks a friendly Bell Desk/Guest Services Associate to escort arriving and departing guests, guide them to their rooms, and introduce room features. You will handle luggage with care, greet guests warmly, assist with front desk operations when needed, answer questions about local attractions, and stay calm under busy hotel conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent guest service mindset with professional demeanor.
• Strong command of English for communication and reading luggage tags.
• Ability to lift/move luggage up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Detail-oriented with a calm, friendly approach during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Escort guests to rooms with a friendly, courteous approach.
• Open doors and assist guests entering or leaving the property.
• Retrieve and transport guest luggage using a bell cart.
• Greet guests and explain room features and hotel services.
• Assist with front desk operations as needed to support guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries about hours, directions, and local attractions.
• Organize luggage storage and maintain tidy service areas.
• Remain calm and attentive during busy periods and emergencies.
