The Pelham Hotel in New Orleans is seeking authentic, service-minded Guest Service Agents to join our boutique property family. You will warmly check guests in and out, direct them to attractions, and provide personalized assistance to ensure memorable stays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in a service environment.
• Self-motivated, able to complete tasks and duties without constant supervision.
• Desire to provide service to others and offer a personalized experience for guests.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Maintain a sharp eye for detail while multi-tasking.
• Enjoy working as part of a team with personal responsibility.
• Flexible schedule; may work mornings, evenings, or overnight.
• Able to stand for long periods and use a computer/handheld device.
• Must communicate verbally in English.
• General understanding of technology and use of a computer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of front desk and room operations at all times.
• Warmly and efficiently perform check-ins and check-outs for guests.
• Act as a concierge, directing guests to attractions, dining, or events.
• Adhere to safety and security rules at all times.
• Post charges and handle billing questions from guests.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.
• Sell and restock pantry items and describe inventory to guests.
• Arrange VIP amenities as needed.
