Job summary

Island Realty’s Hospitality Experience Coordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests, owners and vendors, managing front lobby interactions, and assisting with bookings and concierge add-ons. You will handle check-in/check-out procedures, provide area information, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role emphasizes a friendly, proactive approach, strong communication skills, and deep knowledge of the Charleston area.

Qualifications

• Professional customer service nature with a desire to exceed expectations.
• Must communicate with friendly and pleasant tone (written and oral).
• Self-starter who sees projects through to completion and follows up.
• Positive, upbeat attitude at all times.
• Accurate knowledge of the Charleston area and ability to give directions to Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, downtown Charleston, and greater Charleston area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors in a cheerful and professional manner.
• Deliver impeccable service to Island Realty customers including current guests, potential guests, property owners, and vendors.
• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures as needed.
• Answer calls, texts, and emails promptly.
• Arrange for after-hours arrival packet pick-up and notify guests of procedures.
• Post, process, and record payments and reconcile cash drawer at end of day.
• Maintain front office appearance and restock as needed.
• Offer to extend guest stays where opportunities exist.
• Communicate with guests about events and services available.
• Provide concierge services and recommendations based on Island Realty vendors and area knowledge.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve queries.
