Job summary

IHG is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-in/out, process transactions, and provide local insights to ensure a memorable stay. You will be the warm, first point of contact, delivering seamless service across a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include managing bookings, upselling, recording guest preferences, and assisting guests with issues while maintaining safety procedures and brand standards.

Qualifications

• In the hotel industry we cater for our guest needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Shift may vary across a 7-day period, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and inform about ways to improve their stay.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in and out, collect IDs, issue room keys, and manage safety deposit boxes.
• Record guest preferences and address their messages, requests, questions and concerns.
• Be a trusted contact for guests and escalate to management when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.
• Stay updated on events and activities and assist colleagues as needed.
