Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Providence, RI. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, payments, and inquiries with a focus on friendly, efficient service.

You will manage reservations, assist with guest requests, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a seamless stay. Strong communication and calmness under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Strong guest service orientation.
• Proficiency with computer, calculator, phone and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in guests, verify reservations and provide information.
• Process check-out, payments and issue invoices.
• Answer calls, route inquiries, and respond to emails promptly.
• Manage room/service reservations and updates in the system.
• Assist guests with requests and local recommendations; address concerns.
• Perform administrative tasks and keep the front desk organized.
• Monitor access and issue visitor badges; cooperate with security.
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile at shift end.
• Multitask across guest service, phone, inquiries, and admin duties.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management for smooth operations.
• Follow procedures during emergencies and assist guests and staff.
