Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service, facilitate check-ins/check-outs, and address guest inquiries. You will promote the loyalty program and handle payments, reservations, and requests with a positive, professional attitude.

The role requires greeting guests, managing inquiries, and maintaining knowledge of hotel services and local area. A high school diploma and customer service experience are preferred; flexible schedules including nights and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of the hotel, its services, and the surrounding area.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on occasion.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and register them in the system.
• Promote and enroll guests in the loyalty program and manage benefits for members.
• Process payments during check-in/check-out and report daily receipts.
• Assist guests with requests, keys, safety deposit boxes, and miscellaneous charges.
• Respond to guest complaints and escalate as needed with solutions.
• Answer phone calls and manage reservations with accuracy.
• Assist with shuttle or transportation services and guest luggage.
• Provide information about local area, services, and amenities.
• Handle guest requests for laundry, wake-up calls, and messages.
