Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service during their stay. You will warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, and assist with inquiries and issues in a friendly, efficient manner.

The role includes promoting the loyalty program, handling payments, and supporting shuttle services. Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of the hotel and local area is advantageous.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm, positive first impression.
• Register guests, verify reservations, and process payments.
• Promote and enroll guests in the loyalty program.
• Handle check-ins/check-outs and report daily receipts.
• Assist guests with service requests and provide keys as needed.
• Respond to guest complaints with solutions and escalate when necessary.
• Answer calls accurately and manage reservations efficiently.
• Assist with shuttle/transport and luggage as required.
• Be knowledgeable about local area, hotel services, and amenities.
• Follow SOPs, maintain confidentiality of room numbers, and support the team.
