Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on greeting guests, check-ins/outs, and handling inquiries with a friendly, efficient approach.

Responsibilities include promoting the loyalty program, processing payments, and assisting guests with requests while maintaining security and hotel procedures. Flexible scheduling is often required to cover nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of hotel services and surrounding area.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, register them into the system, verify reservations and payment details.
• Promote and enroll guests in the loyalty program and explain member benefits.
• Process payments at check-in/check-out and manage daily receipts.
• Assist guests with service requests including keys, safety deposit boxes, and charges.
• Respond to guest complaints and escalate as needed.
• Handle phone inquiries and reservations with courtesy and accuracy.
• Coordinate shuttle or transportation services as required.
• Assist guests with luggage on arrival and departure.
• Provide locally relevant information and hotel amenities to guests.
