Job summary

The Front Office Agent at Highgate Hotels provides attentive, courteous service to guests during check-in, stay, and checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Requirements include college coursework helpful, high school diploma required, strong computer skills, and excellent communication. Customer-service experience preferred; ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused front desk experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills essential.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy hotel lobby.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, and local attractions.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be familiar with rates, packages and promotions and in-house groups.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Operate Front Desk computer system and maintain shift paperwork.
