Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a front desk associate to warmly greet guests, complete check-in/out, and ensure an exceptional stay. You will input guest data into a computer system, balance charges, and assist with questions about local attractions in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires accurate cash handling, credit card verification, and courteous communication. A high school diploma is preferred, with hospitality exposure considered an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and verify reservation details.
• Check-in/out guests and balance house accounts.
• Input guest information into the computer system and retrieve messages.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization.
• Answer phones and provide accurate information on hours and local attractions.
• Handle cash and vouchers, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Resolve guest concerns and communicate with supervisors when needed.
• Maintain neat front desk area and adhere to safety procedures.
