Job summary

A premier resort and casino in Iowa is seeking a full-time Banquet Manager to oversee the front of house operations in the banquet department. The position requires strong leadership and exceptional customer service skills, guiding a team while maintaining quality standards. With a base salary of $55,000 plus commission, total compensation typically ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 based on performance. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of banquet services and effective organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of banquet operations preferred.
• Good driving record for company vehicle operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for the Banquet Department.
• Lead a team of Banquet Supervisors and Servers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain operational quality and service standards.
