Job summary

Michaels Stores in Glendale, CA is seeking a customer-focused team member to help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions. You will ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling, while engaging customers in rewards programs and enrollment for private label credit cards.

You will assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participate in truck unload and stock tasks, and help maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as listed.
• Lifting heavy boxes and stocking shelves as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollment
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock status
• Perform SISO and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully with customers and teammates
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Retail operations support and customer service excellence
