Job summary

The Mayton in Cary, NC is seeking a part-time Guest Services Representative to provide attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout, while maximizing occupancy and revenue.

The role requires a commitment to outstanding customer service, strong communication, and the ability to handle guest requests and payments. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected, with collaboration with Bell staff and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Register guests in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Handle guest accounts including posting charges and collecting payment.
• Maintain guest security in controlling keys and divulging information.
• Provide accurate information about the property and surrounding area.
• Receive and follow up on guest requests or complaints to guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to update room status.
• Assist guests with Bell staff as needed.
• Balance and secure cash at end of shift.
