Job summary

Residence Inn Cary Raleigh is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel. You will manage check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests while delivering friendly, efficient service in an extended-stay environment.

The position offers growth opportunities within the opening team, with flexible hourly shifts and potential for advancement. Prior hospitality experience preferred; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is required; hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check guests in and out with genuine hospitality.
• Process reservations, payment methods, and guest preferences accurately.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, local area, and directions.
• Assist with minor lobby F&B, sundry shop, and marketplace transactions.
• Support service recovery and follow up on guest concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area.
• Communicate room status and guest needs with Housekeeping and Engineering.
• Follow all cash handling, security, and key control procedures.
