Highgate Hotels’ Fairfield Inn Vacaville is seeking a Front Office Agent responsible for check-in/check-out, guest inquiries, and maximizing occupancy and revenue. You will maintain familiarity with rates, promotions, and group blocks, while delivering attentive service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Required are basic computer skills, a high school diploma, and friendly, professional communication. Prior hospitality experience is preferred and regular attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer services experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests about services and transportation.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of rates, packages and promotions.
• Know in-house groups and dates.
• Handle reservations and quote rates.
• Understand hospitality terminology.
• Know emergency procedures and assist as needed.
• Check-in and check-out in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Operate the Front Desk computer system.
• Complete shift checklists and reports.
