Highgate Hotels at Fairfield Inn Vacaville is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver attentive service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

The role requires handling guest inquiries, reservations, and cash transactions with a friendly demeanor. Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills are essential for success in this fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• College course work in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of all rates, packages and special promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups.
• Be aware of closed out and restricted dates.
• Obtain information when taking room reservations and follow rate-quoting scenarios.
• Be familiar with hospitality terminology.
• Know emergency procedures and assist as needed.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Operate Front Desk computer system.
• Complete shift checklist tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Balance and prepare closing paperwork per hotel standards.
• Maintain and market promotions and guest programs.
