Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Front Office Agent for Residence Inn Deptford. You will deliver attentive service at check-in, during the stay, and at checkout while maximizing occupancy and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hotel experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on guest relations.

Qualifications

• College course work in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and maintain a warm demeanor.
• Must multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Balance and prepare paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Be familiar with rates, packages and promotions and assist with reservations.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
