Job summary

Grand Casino is hiring a Food & Beverage Ambassador to handle guest check transactions, assist with food running, bussing, and host interactions, ensuring a positive guest experience across all touch points.

You will manage cash handling, follow cash control policies, assist at the host station, help with reservations, and collaborate with casino staff to maintain high standards of service and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Receive payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner when applicable.
• Adhere to established cash control policies and procedures of Grand Casino.
• Advise Guest of waiting time and areas of the Venue.
• Prepare orders in a timely manner and complete them with garnish and accompaniments.
• Answer Guest questions and directs concerns to appropriate management.
• Address Guest complaints and resolve them quickly and courteously.
• Seat Guests according to the established procedures of the venue.
• Deliver excellent Guest Service in an upbeat, friendly manner.
• Maintain stock of all necessary items.
• Initial cordial reception to Guests upon arrival and escort to dining table.
• Answer telephones and make reservations, if required.
• Communicate with Guests including wait times, reservations and general information about the venue.
• Seat Guests according to rotation procedures and operate host seating computer system.
• Address any Guest complaints to resolve them quickly and courteously.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Read floorplans and seat guests accordingly.
• Clean and sanitize tables and dining area upon Guest departure.
• Participate with Casino Hosts, Food Servers, Cooks, Supervisors, and Associates to run a smooth operation.
• Other duties as assigned that are related to this role.
