Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Denver is seeking a Front Office Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and provide information on local dining and activities. You will balance reservations, handle guest requests, and support smooth operations across the front desk.

The role requires solid computer skills, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while upholding Highgate's standards of guest service and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with guests and staff.
• College coursework in related field is helpful but not required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, and entertainment.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork including room rate verifications and reports.
• Learn and operate Front Desk computer systems and rate quoting procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of rates, packages, promotions, and house policies.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes and guest services.
