Sonesta Hotels is seeking a Guest Services Agent in Washington, DC. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests, handling check-ins, and assisting with information and reservations.

This role supports the Operations Manager and ensures a positive guest experience across shifts. Responsibilities include processing transactions, upselling where possible, and maintaining guest privacy and security.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotels or retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately per procedures.
• Protect guest information and cash/credit security.
• Handle reservations and up-sell rooms when possible.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategies and communicate with team.
• Support front desk operations and assist with guest requests.
