Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Reservations Coordinator in Washington, DC to support reservations operations and guest services across multiple channels. You will manage inquiries, changes, and special requests with accuracy, partnering with Front Office and Sales to ensure smooth experiences.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance guest communication with operational coordination in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with flexible availability

Qualifications

• Previous reservations, Front Desk, hotel operations, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred.
• Experience using hotel reservations systems, PMS platforms, CRS systems, OTA channels, or booking software preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservation requests, changes, cancellations, and inquiries for individual, corporate, negotiated, VIP, and last-minute business.
• Process reservations accurately through PMS, CRS, GDS, hotel website, and other booking platforms.
• Assist with reservations, booking inquiries, VIP reservations, and group room blocks for corporate and negotiated accounts.
• Review daily arrivals to identify business travelers, VIPs, and potential corporate opportunities and liaise with Sales.
• Support Sales with researching prospective corporate accounts and RFP responses.
• Monitor competitor rates and availability for key accounts and markets; share insights with Sales and Revenue Management.
• Maintain reservation records, account files, and communication logs; draft routine correspondence.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, F&B, Housekeeping, and other departments.
