• Receives and processes guest mail and messages.
• Transmits and receives messages via telephone, fax, or switchboard.
• Keeps records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Calculates and collects payments for rooms and services.
• May make or cancel reservations for guests.
• Posts charges to guest accounts and handles deposits.
