Qualifications

Hotel experience preferred.
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy.
Ability to stand and move throughout front office and perform essential job functions.
Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and listen to requests.
Complete registration by inputting and retrieving information from the computer system; confirm guests and room rates.
Handle payments, post charges to guest rooms and house accounts; convert currency when needed.
Code electronic keys and provide welcome folders with keys and coupons.
Resolve guest concerns and negotiate solutions during dissatisfied experiences.
Assist during check-out and ensure guest satisfaction.
