Job summary

Cognition (Software Development Applications) is hiring a GTM Systems Engineer to design, build, and scale the GTM tech stack, connecting CRM, marketing automation, sales tools, and the data warehouse. You will turn manual processes into automated workflows and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships and GTM Ops.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in GTM Engineering, Revenue Ops, or technical Sales/Marketing Ops at a high-growth company.
• Experience administering and customizing Salesforce (objects, flows, permissions, integrations).
• Experience with CPQ and billing systems is preferred.
• Interest in AI with application to daily work.
• Strong SQL skills and data warehouse experience (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Experience building integrations with APIs and automation platforms; scripting in Python or JavaScript is a plus.
• Systems-thinking mindset; design for scale, document work, and ensure clean data.
• Thrive in high-autonomy environments and own problems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain GTM tech stack (CRM, CPQ, marketing automation).
• Design and own integrations/data flows between GTM systems and data warehouse via APIs and webhooks.
• Build automations to improve data hygiene, pipeline accuracy, and deal desk processes.
• Develop AI-powered workflows that reduce manual work and surface signals to reps.
• Ensure data integrity with clear data models, deduplication, and monitoring.
• Partner with Ops and Data Eng to support reporting, dashboards, and forecasting.
• Evaluate, implement, and retire tools with proper documentation and change management.
