Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Distinguished Solution Engineer to drive internal technical enablement across SEs, FDEs, Professional Services, and partners. You will own curriculum, certification, labs, and a champions network, while setting high technical standards and publishing reusable reference patterns.

You will lead critical technical engagements with customers and executives, translating field needs into product improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution engineering, technical architecture, forward deployed engineering, or professional services, including senior technical level in a field organization.
• Deep working knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its metadata (Apex, Flow, Lightning Web Components, Metadata API, packaging, release management).
• Experience building with AI coding agents in daily work and understanding strengths/limits.
• Proven enablement at scale from experts to thousands of practitioners.
• Strong field credibility among SEs, architects, and services leads.
• Excellent communication with engineers, executives, and customers.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Salesforce architect-level certifications and community/champions program experience preferred.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience; evaluated by core competencies.

Responsibilities

• Own internal technical enablement and the programs behind it.
• Own the programming: curriculum, certification path, office hours, labs, and champions network.
• Set and publish the technical standards and reference patterns.
• Build a reusable reference library from field work for technologists to use.
• Lead the hardest technical engagements and senior customer conversations.
• Close the loop with Product by surfacing field gaps, edges, and patterns.
• Scale through others by growing a network of field technical leaders.
