Job summary
Salesforce is seeking a Distinguished Solution Engineer to lead internal technical enablement for diverse field teams. You will own the program, design curricula, and build labs so practitioners can confidently ship AI-enabled solutions using Apex, Flow, and LWC.
Your credibility will guide customers and engineers through complex engagements while partnering with Product to close gaps. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in solution engineering or related fields, deep Salesforce platform
Qualifications
- 10+ years in solution engineering, technical architecture, forward deployed engineering, or professional services at senior levels
- Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its metadata, including Apex, Flow, LWC, Metadata API, packaging, and release management
- Experience building AI-native solutions and using AI coding agents in daily work
- Proven enablement at scale, turning experts into thousands of practitioners
- Strong field credibility with engineers, architects, and services leads
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain decisions to engineers, executives, and customers
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Salesforce architect-level certifications and experience running a technical community or champions program
- Experience across Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, or Data 360
Responsibilities
- Own internal technical enablement and the programs behind it
- Design and run enablement that makes SEs, FDEs, Professional Services, Success, and Partner technologists capable with the product
- Build curriculum, certification paths, office hours, labs, and champions networks across regions and teams
- Define what a good build looks like, with tested, governed, reversible, explainable patterns
- Create a reference library from field work for technologists to reuse
- Lead the hardest technical engagements and complex customer conversations
- Coordinate feedback with Product to address gaps and edge cases
- Scale through others by growing a network of technical leaders across the field
