Job summary

Lila Sciences is seeking a Global Security Operations Center Manager to lead the 24/7 GSOC across all sites, owning access control, video surveillance, IDS, and incident response. You will develop SOPs and emergency plans while coordinating with Facilities, EHS, IT, and executives to keep people and assets secure.

The role requires hands-on management of enterprise security systems, collaboration with first responders, and a focus on policy and threat intel for strategic protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in security-related field.
• 5+ years (L5) to 8+ years (L6) of corporate/physical security or GSOC experience.
• Experience with access control and video management systems.
• Experience with IDS/alarms, incident response with first responders.
• Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 1 and 2, NFPA compliance.
• Onsite full-time work at 5 Alewife Park, Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 GSOC operations across all sites with on-call procedures.
• Manage enterprise access control and visitor management systems.
• Monitor video surveillance and IDS alarms; ensure retention practices.
• Coordinate incident response with first responders and leadership.
• Develop and maintain GSOC SOPs, policies, and emergency plans.
• Prepare threat intelligence briefings for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Facilities, EHS, IT and contractors to secure sites.
• Maintain incident logs and GSOC metrics for leadership review.
