Job summary

Control Risks is hiring a GSOC Team Lead to establish and manage a brand new GSOC program for a Fortune 500 client. You will oversee a global, 24/7/365 security operations center, mentor analysts, and drive improvements across processes, technologies, and operations.

You will provide strategic guidance during incidents, deliver executive briefings, and ensure timely, actionable intelligence reaches decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7–10 years of intelligence analysis and threat monitoring experience.
• Proven leadership experience in GSOC or emergency response.
• Experience with global risk intelligence and incident response software.
• Ability to synthesize diverse data sources into actionable intelligence.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience evaluating open-source information for incident analysis.
• Experience with emergency mass notification systems and travel risk tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the GSOC team, onboarding, training, QA and 24/7 scheduling.
• Monitor real-time global events and assess impact on workforce and operations.
• Refine intelligence products, alerts and executive reports for strategic value.
• Optimize workflows and close gaps to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
• Deliver detailed situational briefings to global security leadership.
• Develop and implement GSOC SOPs, best practices and new tech.
• Coordinate cross-functional training and exercises for readiness.
• Collaborate with global security stakeholders to support 24/7 operations.
• Lead adoption of new services and technologies to enhance intelligence gathering.
