Job summary

Philz Coffee is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our store leadership team in California. The AGM will use independent judgment to oversee store operations, financial results, and team development while upholding Philz values.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-volume food & beverage environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in people programs such as hiring, training, and coaching team members.
• Experience managing scheduling, inventory, payroll, and compliance.
• Strong experience supervising food safety and other risk management programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including staffing levels, food costs, customer experience, and team performance.
• Manage food safety standards, run monthly audits, and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Ensure a store experience aligned with Philz's core values and standards.
• Respond to customer feedback across channels to improve the store experience.
• Coach and evaluate team members, providing feedback to support growth.
• Lead rollout of new initiatives and ensure your team is trained and ready.
