Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Service Operations Leader to manage service operations, oversee the service field personnel, the service admin team, and the service sales team, and drive profitability through P&L oversight and cost control.

You will grow the service business by expanding offerings, recruiting and developing the team, establishing safety and training programs, and collaborating with operations, sales, IT, HR, and contracts to meet quarterly targets and deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of service management experience for a control systems and/or HVAC organization, including people management.
• Experience managing a service business greater than $5M in revenue.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Manage the service field organization across multiple trades and develop leadership skills.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, coaching and training of employees.
• Lead monthly service team meetings and ensure communication of goals.
• Develop department budget and manage KPIs for performance goals.
• Oversee department P&L and control overhead and margins.
• Coordinate scheduling, execution and billing of PM visits and service projects.
• Support sales with operational input to secure new customers and agreements.
• Advance growth plans and new service capabilities with leadership.
