Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Project team on national, high-profile electrical contracting projects. You may perform general administrative tasks while helping drive project execution and coordination.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, manage RFIs and PCOs, track payroll, and assist with schedules and material flow. The position offers growth opportunities within a shareholder-driven, employee-owned company.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related field
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 1-2 years’ project management support experience, preferably in a construction environment
Experience in the construction industry
Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience

Responsibilities

Recap and track Potential Change Orders (PCO’s).
Ability to price up material vouchers.
Write up and keep track of all Request for Information (RFI’s).
Track certified payroll for Rosendin and all subcontractors and fill out all necessary forms the job requires. e.g., HRC forms, OCIP Compliance.
Ability to update project schedules on Microsoft Projects or Sure Track.
Monthly billing (Schedule of Values/Cover sheet).
Create and update material flow sheets. e.g., Fixtures and Fire Alarm devices; Subcontract/Change Order logs; Submittal logs.
Ability to obtain quotes from vendors and some light material ordering.
