Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Project Assistant to support our project teams on electrical construction endeavors. The role offers growth opportunities within a large, employee-owned contractor and exposure to high-profile nationwide projects.

You’ll recap change orders, price material vouchers, track RFIs, and assist with schedules, billing, and submittals. Strong organization and communication are essential in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading and materials/pricing knowledge using Biddle Book.
• Strong project management procedures and scheduling software familiarity.
• 10-key, computer, and filing skills required.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
• Organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Experience with Microsoft Projects, Suretrack, Oracle and SharePoint preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Multitask effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong communication with all levels of staff and vendors.
• Self-motivated, proactive and a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Recap and track Potential Change Orders (PCOs).
• Price up material vouchers and maintain pricing records.
• Write up and track all RFIs.
• Track certified payroll for Rosendin and subcontractors and fill required forms.
• Update project schedules on Microsoft Projects or Sure Track.
• Monthly billing (Schedule of Values/Cover sheet).
• Create and update material flow sheets and logs.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and perform light material ordering.
• Other duties as assigned within the business unit.
