The role emphasizes prospecting, negotiation, and accurate reporting. Qualifications include at least 1 year in procurement and transportation, plus 2 years in sales or customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of procurement experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of transportation experience.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while working independently within authorized limits.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities with small and medium-sized customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Drive revenue and load growth, manage daily account operations.
• Search for, identify, and develop leads through trusted sources and cold calling.
• Negotiate rates and terms to secure profitable assignments and client satisfaction.
• Update internal systems and reporting to ensure accurate sales metrics.
• Track back-end billing and carrier charges accuracy.
