Job summary

RXO is seeking an Associate Business Development Representative to identify new opportunities with small and mid-size customers and to drive revenue growth across North America. You will build relationships, prospect new leads, and negotiate rates to secure profitable load volumes.

You will manage daily account needs, update systems, and maintain accurate sales and billing data while learning the industry and RXO processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of procurement experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of transportation experience.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment and work independently within limits.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities with small and medium-sized customers.
• Develop leads through trusted sources and cold calling to secure sales and load volume.
• Negotiate rates and terms to secure profitable deals.
• Maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Update internal tracking and reporting systems to ensure sales metrics accuracy.
• Track carrier charges and ensure invoice accuracy.
