Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive to identify leads and proactively prospect, selling a full suite of waste and recycling services within a defined geographic area. The role involves delivering presentations, following up with decision-makers, and expanding revenue through total waste stream management solutions.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in direct selling and a valid driver’s license. Experience in the waste or service industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Waste or service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads, manage prospects and acquire new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective new clients and close sales with key decision makers.
• Perform phone blocks and cold call prospecting to establish initial and follow-up appointments with decision-makers.
• Maintain knowledge of services and pricing structures to upsell total waste stream management solutions as appropriate.
• Document activities in Salesforce and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
