Job summary

Motion Industries in Fairbanks, AK is seeking an Account Representative I to grow the local book of business by converting competitors' accounts and expanding mid-sized accounts into large ones, while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will generate new leads, deliver effective sales presentations, handle on-site troubleshooting with customers, and coordinate vendor resources to support sales efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0–2 years of experience typical.
• Knowledge of power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial products.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue by acquiring new business and growing existing accounts.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and research.
• Interact face-to-face with customers to build relationships and maintain satisfaction.
• Understand customer requirements for customized quoting.
• Deliver effective sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met.
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer issues.
• Coordinate with vendor resources to support sales.
